Crypto trading involves receiving cryptocurrencies from external wallets directly into your Zabira wallet, buying, selling, swapping, and withdrawing your digital currencies. This guide provides a detailed overview to help users understand and navigate these processes on the Zabira platform.

Depositing Cryptocurrencies on Zabira   #

Follow the steps below to generate your wallet address and complete your deposit securely.

Step-by-Step Guide   #

• Log in to your Zabira account.  
• Click on Crypto on your dashboard.  
• Select Deposit from the available options.  
• Choose the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit.  
• Select the applicable deposit network (e.g., BTC, ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20, etc.).  
• Click Generate Wallet Address to create a unique address for your deposit.  
• Copy the wallet address and share it with the sender or use it to transfer funds from your external wallet.  

Important Notes   #

• Ensure you select the correct deposit network to avoid loss of funds.  
• Transactions require blockchain confirmations before reflecting in your wallet. The time taken depends on network congestion.  
• Deposits below the minimum required amount may not be processed. Please check the specified minimum for each cryptocurrency.  
• Always double-check the wallet address before making a deposit, as transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.  

Buying Cryptocurrencies  #

How it Works: You can purchase cryptocurrencies using traditional fiat currency (e.g., Naira, GHS , KES) 

Steps to Buy Crypto: #

1. Log in to your Zabira account 
2. Deposit Funds: Transfer fiat currency to your Zabira fiat wallet via bank transfer.
3. Purchase Crypto from Your Naira Balance:
   • Select the crypto you want to buy on your dashboard.
   • Click “Buy Crypto (With Fiat).”
   • Choose your preferred currency as your funding source.
   • Select the cryptocurrency you want to buy  (e.g., Bitcoin, Solana) and complete the purchase.

Selling Cryptocurrencies #

How it Works: Exchange your cryptocurrencies for fiat money (NGN, GHS, KSH).

Steps to Sell Crypto: #

1. Click on “Crypto” on your dashboard.
2. Select “Sell “
3. Select the crypto asset to sell (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
4. Choose the percentage of the asset to sell (25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%).
5. Confirm the conversion to your preferred currency and click on sell 
6. Confirm detail page will appear showing details of the transaction for your review
7. Click on confirm and the funds will be deposited into your wallet.

Swapping Cryptocurrencies #

How it Works: Exchange one cryptocurrency for another without converting to fiat.

Steps to Swap Crypto: #

1. Click on “Crypto” on your dashboard.
2. Click on “Swap” on your dashboard.
3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to swap and the one you want to receive (e.g., BTC to ETH).
4. Review the exchange rate and associated fees.
5. Confirm the swap, and the new cryptocurrency will be added to your wallet.

Withdrawing Cryptocurrencies #

How it Works: Transfer cryptocurrency from your Zabira wallet to another wallet.

Steps to Withdraw to a Zabira Wallet: #

1. Click on “Crypto” on your dashboard and click on Withdrawal
2. Choose the cryptocurrency to withdraw.
3. Enter the recipient’s Zabira phone number or  email or Zabira ID
4. Select the network for the withdrawal.
5. Input the amount to withdraw (e.g., 0.00024 BTC).
6. Confirm the transaction details and fees.
7. The transaction will be processed based on the network’s speed which is almost instant on Zabira

Steps to Withdraw to an External Wallet: #

1. Click on “Crypto” on your dashboard and click on Withdrawal
2. Select the cryptocurrency to withdraw.
3. Enter the recipient’s external wallet address.
4. Select the network (ensure compatibility with the receiving platform).
5. Input the withdrawal amount (e.g., 0.000023 BTC).
6. Review and Confirm the transaction details
7. The crypto will be sent to the external wallet after processing.

Note: Ensure you select the correct network to avoid asset loss.

Supported Cryptocurrencies #

Below are the supported cryptocurrencies and all other limits in Zabira:

Fees #

• Trading Fees: 0.2% for crypto withdrawals.
• Withdrawal/Deposit Fee: Flat fee of ₦100 per transaction for fiat withdrawals and deposit.
